"Obama will apparently be President."

That is a quote from Fred Barnes on Brit Hume's show a few days ago. I couldn't believe my ears, and no one challenged his comment. I'm hearing this kind of thinking from more and more conservative pundits.

What is wrong with this picture?  You would assume that Obama is way ahead of McCain in the polls. But that is not the case, the polls are much closer than anyone would have expected in this so called "Democrat year."  Some of the polls today have the race within two points.

After a week when Obama had changed many of his views, "flip-flopped" as it were, the "all stars" on Brit Hume were praising Obama for moving to the center early, and criticizing McCain for Phil Graham's comment about the "mental recession." Juan Williams, the Democrat on the panel, referred to "what I'm hearing from Republicans," when he predicted that McCain will lose the election.

I'm tired of the McCain bashing from our side. He wasn't my choice, but whining certainly won't help him win. It seems that we are trying really hard to lost this election!
